I had to make an unexpected stop in Merritt and this was one of the better rated motels that was pet friendly. The check in process was relatively simple and the room was cleanish despite the 80s/90s decor. There were a number of sketchy looking bugs and the room was quite warm. There is a window and an ac though. Check out was simple in that it just required you to drop off your key. It had the necessary amenities but there wasn't anything wow about this place.
Had to make an emergency stop at this motel on my way home to Vancouver. They were quick and easy and fairly inexpensive. However, you get what you pay for. It is a pretty old school joint. But it was clean, just kinda reminded me of the motel from universal soldier where Jean Claude Van Dam goes into the bathtub to cool his system.
Wonderful place.. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean huge rooms with kitchen and all accessories, stayed here last year for Merritt mountain rocking music festival. Glad to be able to book our room this year 3 months in advance. Cheep but in dollars only. Great place close to festival and town.
Owners were very nice and accommodating. Very kind and good service. Clean and good smelling rooms. Didint smell like smoke. Good water pressure, no bedbugs, the owners won't bother you if you are partying a little. Sun shining into the doorway area... the price is negotiable. No deposit. Very fair. Close to town. You wont find a better deal than this. They honestly will not hastle you over regular living/partying. As long as you dont take advantage. Very nice. you can relax here with drinks and not be bothered by anyone. I stayed 2 nights. They asked if i wanted another night. Also gave me 2pm checkout. Awesome...
