I am absolutely in love with this place! The service delivered that 'small town hoapitality' feeling. Making me feel right at home. The food tasted like mom's home cooked meals. Absolutely delicious, huge serving size and real ingredients with a hand made care and consideration. If I could give these guys 10 stars out of five I would. If you are passing through Merritt, I would suggest this place for a real meal. Kids are welcome to a certain time, but I wouldn't call it a 'family restaurant'. I'd say if your kids are like 8 and up. It is worth the stop.
2 orders of wings, order of mushroom caps, spinach dip with "fresh" (not even close) veggies, corn dog with Cesar salad and a burger.....all came out burned. Vodka missing from vodka club soda. Not suitable for consumption. Never have I sent as meal back or complained about it or refused to pay. This monstrosity left me no other choice. Do not waste your money or time... took an hour to get the food.
I like to stop by here when I'm headed up to Kelowna. And when I say stop by, I mean precariously plan my meals so that I'm hungry and able to eat a full, home style cooked meal.This cozy little place by all means does not have a modern feel to it. It's comfy. It's cozy. It feels like a family owned pub and I love it just for that.Everything I have tried off the menu has been DELICIOUS. All of it so fresh! The sandwiches are piping hot with cheese melting right out when you separate the two halves. Fries are crispy and seasoned to perfection. Whatever you do, GET THE GRAVY!! It's amazingly delicious. The staff always greet you with a smile. I've been here when it's been slow and when it's been busy and the service has been consistent. The menu is super quirky but be prepared to feel overwhelmed. You're going to want to order one of EVERYTHING and the portion sizes are generous so choose wisely!
Food good. Servers friendly. Free parking. Family friendly until 10pm.Chairs not comfortable.
